historically specialized in the care of elderly blind persons before extending its services to include all forms of sensory and cognitive deficits. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The reconstruction operation resulted in an increase in capacity from 66 to 74 beds as well as a diversification in the services provided by the facility, with: \u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>design<\/strong> of a nursing home with 74 long-term beds (66 for permanent and 8 for temporary clients) and 14 rest places, making a total of 88 beds and places, subdivided into:<\/span><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">6 conventional living units with 10 beds each;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 14-bed <strong>Dementia care unit<\/strong> including a therapeutic kitchen, a rest room, two activity areas and a large terrace;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A rest facility with 14 day-care places.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The creation of a 14-place <strong>activity centre offering individualized care<\/strong>, with rooms measuring 22.6 m\u00b2, all individual.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The development of a training centre and an experimental therapeutic wellness centre measuring 300 square metres. Equipped with a Jacuzzi, a sensory shower, and a floating bed, this wellness space welcomes the nursing home\u2019s clients every day on doctor\u2019s prescription as part of the general care project.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>construction<\/strong> of 17 dwelling units (16 with two main rooms and one with three main rooms) above the nursing home for independent adults who are vulnerable due to a sensory impairment.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
