Discover the partial refurbishment project for this 85-place private, not for profit nursing home. In particular, the preliminary studies conducted by Gerontim provided for the creation of 12 private rooms as well as for a particularly well-equipped activity centre offering individualized care, with a living space subdivided into various sections for different activities and atmospheres.

Restructuring of the Notre-Dame Residence for Independent Living in Besançon (France) – 69 places

To increase the attractiveness of this residence for independent living in a competitive local environment, Gerontim assisted it in every aspect of its global restructuring operation. The residence comprises 69 places, including 60 flats of 20 m² and two one-bedroomed flats for couples, as well as 9 rooms for temporary accommodation.

Restructuring of the nursing home Le Patio in Paris Area (France) – 203 places

The all-round support for the client provided by Gerontim allowed this not for profit nursing home to construct 9 dementia care units with a total capacity of 123 places, including 1 Dementia Care Unit. This new capacity complemented the existing 70 conventional long-term beds for permanent clients and 10 day-care places and was created on the basis of an approach that ensured outstanding environmental quality.

Restructuring of the nursing home Le Home de Préville in Moulins-Lès-Metz (France) – 160 beds

For the restructuring project for this not for profit nursing home, and in particular for the section built in 1984 which was no longer compatible with requirements, Gerontim specifically advised the client to implement a 3-level extension. This was designed to create an independent unit which was nevertheless connected to the other units of the nursing home which, by the end of the operation, was planning to provide a total capacity of 160 places.

Gerontim supported this private, not for profit nursing home throughout the entire reconstruction operation on its new site. The operation allowed the facility to increase its care and accommodation capacity and extend its range of services and activities, in particular through the creation of 14 rest places for day visitors, 14 places in an activity centre offering individualized care and 17 dwelling units suitable for special needs.

Gerontim assisted this private nursing home in the conduct of its architectural feasibility study and its extension project for the construction of a 15-place dementia care unit. Apart from ensuring the architectural coherence between the existing structure and the extension, Gerontim placed the focus on the equality of treatment for all clients.

Gerontim provided support at every step during the complete reconstruction of this nursing home, which has a capacity of 100 long-term beds and 8 day-care places. In particular, the operation planned for the provision of 2 dementia care units, 6 conventional units, an activity centre offering individualized care and a community centre, all accommodated within a “village centre” concept that is extremely open and welcoming to the surrounding community.
